COOKIE NOTICE
Effective date: 2026-03-19 Last updated: 2026-04-17
1. Purpose
This Cookie Notice explains how Luminibus S.r.l.s. socio unico (“Selv-a”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, and how you can manage your choices.
2. Scope
This Cookie Notice applies to cookies and similar technologies used on:
- Selv-a marketing websites and landing pages
- any web-based dashboards or web experiences we operate
- embedded content, analytics tools, and marketing technologies used on our websites
- This Cookie Notice does not apply to third-party websites or apps that you visit via links from Selv-a. Those third parties act under their own terms and privacy notices.
Special note for /download: our dedicated /download landing page is designed to work without cookies and without local storage identifiers. When anonymous measurement is enabled there, it is limited to cookie-free page views and first-party records of App Store / Google Play badge clicks, and it is suppressed when the page-level opt-out is present or when the browser sends a supported privacy signal such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Even without cookies, your IP address and User-Agent are transmitted to our processor Vercel Inc. (United States) to render the page and to compute aggregate metrics; Vercel does not persist raw IP addresses. This US transfer is covered by Vercel Inc.'s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
3. Definitions
Cookies: small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device, so that information can be saved and later read back when you return. Similar technologies: pixels, tags, SDKs, local storage, session storage, scripts, device fingerprinting, and other techniques that can store information on, or access information already stored in, your device, or otherwise collect information about your browsing activity. For the purposes of this notice, "cookies" and "similar technologies" are treated the same. First-party cookies: cookies set by our websites. Third-party cookies: cookies set by third parties whose tools or content are embedded on our websites.
4. Categories of cookies and why we use them
We use the following categories. The specific cookies, providers, and durations are listed in our consent preference center (CMP).
4.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required to operate our websites and services securely and cannot be switched off in our systems. They support functions such as:
- security and fraud prevention
- load balancing
- session management and authentication
- saving cookie choices and consent status
- You generally cannot disable strictly necessary cookies through our cookie manager. You may be able to block them in your browser, but doing so may prevent the website from working properly.
4.2 Preferences
These cookies help remember your choices and settings, such as:
- language and region
- display preferences
- saved settings (where applicable)
4.3 Analytics
We use analytics to understand aggregate usage of our websites and to improve performance. Analytics data may include:
- page views and navigation flows
- performance, diagnostics, and error metrics (Core Web Vitals)
- a first-party record that an App Store or Google Play badge was clicked (on /download only)
- Site-wide providers (all pages, including /download): Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, both provided by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA), acting as our processor. Both tools are cookieless and do not store identifiers in your browser or device. On every page you visit, they process: the URL you visit, the referrer, an approximate geographic location derived from your IP address, a hash of the User-Agent to detect bots, and Core Web Vitals / performance metrics. Vercel does not persist raw IP addresses.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in measuring aggregate page performance and install conversion. We have assessed that this processing does not override your rights because no persistent identifier is written to your device, no cross-site tracking is performed, and raw IP addresses are not retained. You can object to Vercel Analytics at any time by (i) appending ?analytics=off to the URL (applied on /download), (ii) enabling Do Not Track in your browser, or (iii) enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser — our code suppresses Vercel Analytics when any of these signals is detected.
International transfer: Data is processed in the United States by Vercel Inc., which is self-certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (GDPR Chapter V, Art. 45 adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). Standard Contractual Clauses apply as a secondary safeguard under Vercel's Data Processing Addendum.
Retention: Aggregated analytics data is retained by Vercel for up to 12 months. See https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy and https://vercel.com/docs/security/compliance for details.
Additional analytics and marketing tags on pages other than /download: Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, and Meta Pixel are loaded on non-/download pages only after you grant consent through our CMP (Cookiebot). The /download page excludes GTM, Clarity, Meta Pixel, and the Cookiebot banner entirely. You can withdraw consent at any time from the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
Joint controllership for the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel: Selv-a and the respective Pixel Provider act as joint controllers within the meaning of Article 26 GDPR for the collection-and-transmission stage when the pixel loads in your browser, following the reasoning of CJEU Fashion ID (C-40/17). The essential allocation of responsibilities between Selv-a and each Pixel Provider is published at https://selv-a.com/legal/joint-controllership and reproduced in our internal Records of Processing Activities. The Pixel Providers act as independent controllers for the downstream uses they make of the data once it has reached their systems.
4.4 Marketing
These cookies and similar technologies help us:
- measure the effectiveness of campaigns
- understand which channels bring visitors to our websites
- show promotional content that is more relevant on our websites
- We use marketing technologies only in line with your preferences and applicable law.
5. Cookie banner and preference management
5.1 Consent Management Platform (CMP)
We use a third-party consent management platform to display a cookie banner, store your choices, and allow you to manage cookie categories.
CMP provider: Cookiebot Cookie Preferences link: available in the website footer as “Cookie Preferences” (or equivalent)
The /download page is separate from the broader website consent flow because it does not set cookies and does not load our CMP or marketing tags.
5.2 How to change your choices
You can change your choices at any time by:
- clicking “Cookie Preferences” in the website footer, and or
- adjusting your browser settings (note: blocking cookies may affect website functionality)
- Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it was withdrawn.
5.3 Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to remove or block cookies and to manage site data. If you disable cookies, some site features may not work, and certain preferences may be lost.
5.4 Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, and similar signals
Some browsers provide Do Not Track or similar signals (including Global Privacy Control). Our response depends on applicable legal requirements and technical feasibility across our vendor stack. Where we are required to recognize such signals as a valid opt-out, we will do so.
6. Legal basis (where applicable)
Where EU, UK, or similar rules apply:
- Strictly necessary cookies are used to provide a secure and functional service and do not require consent.
- Preferences, analytics, and marketing cookies are used based on your consent where required by law, which you can provide or withdraw through our CMP.
- Where the /download page uses anonymous audience measurement, we do so only on a cookie-free basis and with an on-page opt-out.
7. Third-party tools
Our websites may include third-party tools (for example analytics, performance monitoring, embedded media, and marketing measurement). These providers may set their own cookies and process data under their own policies.
You can view the current list of cookies, vendors, purposes, and durations in our CMP preference center.
8. International transfers
Some third-party providers may process data outside the EEA and or UK. Where required, we use safeguards consistent with applicable law (for example contractual protections).
9. Retention
Cookie retention depends on cookie type and provider settings. You can view cookie durations and expiry in the CMP preference center.
