1. Purpose

Selv-a is not designed or intended to provide emergency services. This notice explains what to do if you or someone else is in crisis.

2. Where you will see this notice and where to get support

This notice may be shown:

  • in Settings (mobile app) and in the Safety Center of the web portal
  • contextually when certain safety signals are detected
  • The Safety Center also lets you reach out to us directly if you need support. Submissions are reviewed by the Selv-a team; see the Privacy Policy for how we handle safety data.

3. Not an emergency service

Selv-a is not an emergency service and is not a suicide prevention hotline.

4. If there is immediate danger

If you are in immediate danger or think you may harm yourself or someone else, seek help now:

  • call your local emergency number (for example 112 in many European countries, 911 in the United States and Canada)
  • contact a qualified healthcare professional
  • reach out to a trusted person near you

5. What Selv-a may do

Selv-a may:

  • show resources and encourage you to seek professional help
  • limit or block content and features if misuse or safety risk is detected
  • use automated safety checks and limited human review for safety purposes
  • Selv-a may not detect every situation and cannot guarantee intervention.
